Sarah Weyenberg is currently pursing her masters in clinical mental health counseling through the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She hopes to combine her love of paddleboarding and counseling, to provide recreation as a form of therapy. She   graduated from the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse, with an undergraduate degree in recreation management. 

 

She has been enjoying her Grandmother's cottage in the North Woods her entire life. Sarah learned how to stand up paddleboard in Deerfield Beach, FL when visiting her brother. Her passion for this area and excitement for the sport are the driving forces of her business. 

 

Sarah started 5 Toes On The Nose as a junior in college. This is her 12th summer running 5 Toes On The Nose.

Sarah started racing paddleboards while interning at Island Water Sports in 2012. Before pursuing her masters she spent winters this  Florida to train, and to become certified by the ACA in stand up paddleboard lessons.  During the summer months you will see Sarah paddling the Three Lakes chain, as well as participating in The Midwest Stand Up Paddleboard championship series. She is currently ranked the #1 female in region 10 (WI,MI,IL,OH,IN).
